Available in Black, Red and Plum, the L830 comes with 16.0 effective megapixels and a BSI-CMOS sensor. It has 34x optical zoom covering a wide angle from 22.5mm - 765mm (35mm format equivalent) and a 68x Dynamic Fine Zoom* that covers approximately 1530mm (35mm format equivalent). Also, it enables macro shooting from as close as approximately 1cm. Dynamic Fine Zoom refers to the areas in which the camera can zoom while maintaining resolution from the maximum optical telephoto zoom position.

TARGET FINDING AF ENABLES AUTOMATIC PREDICTION AND FOCUSING ON INTENDED SUBJECT
So simple, all you do is point the camera in the direction of your subject and the camera immediately predicts the intended subject and specifies the focus area. As the active focus area is automatically specified in accordance with the size of the subject, it is effective for a variety of subjects — from faces to still objects — whether or not they are in the center.
